Project Info

This bathroom hadn’t been touched since the 1970s, complete with its original turquoise suite, so we stripped it right back and started again to create a stunning, modern space.

As part of the bathroom renovation, all of the plumbing and waste pipes were replaced and the walls were freshly plastered. A decoupling membrane was installed to the floor to protect the tiles from movement and cracking over time.

Stunning 1200 x 600 stone tiles were laid to both the floor and walls, creating a clean, seamless finish. The room centres on a freestanding bath with a freestanding high-riser tap in brushed brass, alongside a wall-hung basin and a walk-in shower.

Everything is complemented with brushed brass fittings, from the taps and shower to the heated towel rail, with a backlit LED mirror completing the look. The result is a stunning transformation from a dated 1970s bathroom to a bright, contemporary space.

This bathroom was part of our complete 3-bedroom property renovation.
