This project completely transformed a tired, cold conservatory into a bright and modern living space designed for everyday family life. The existing conservatory was removed and replaced with a high-quality 6m rear extension, creating a spacious new kitchen and dining area filled with natural light.
Our team began by removing the old structure before installing a new raft foundation slab to ensure a solid base for the build. The extension was then constructed with large 5m anthracite bifold doors, opening the space to the garden and allowing natural light to flood the room.
To create a seamless flow through the home, we knocked through the rear wall of the property, connecting the new extension directly to the existing kitchen area. A stylish centre roof lantern was installed to enhance the sense of space and bring in even more daylight.
The extension was fully insulated and fitted with underfloor heating to ensure year-round comfort. Inside, the space was boarded and plastered before being finished with fresh tiling, crisp white paintwork, and new architraves and skirting to give the room a clean, modern finish.
The project was completed with upgraded electrics, LED downlights throughout, and full building control approval.
