This property was bought off market through probate and hadn’t seen much love for a long time, so we stripped it right back and started again, turning it into a fresh, modern three-bedroom home ready for its new owners.
As part of this full property renovation, the layout was reconfigured to create a third bedroom, and the house received a full rewire and a full replumb. New uPVC doors and replacement windows were fitted, and oak internal doors were installed throughout.
Downstairs, we installed a brand-new modern (see the full kitchen project) kitchen with marble-effect worktops, integrated appliances and plinth lighting. Naked Blonde Oak LVT with a rose gold feature border strip runs through the kitchen and living areas, while Topez carpets were fitted to the stairs, landing and bedrooms.
Upstairs, the bathroom was completely renovated (see the full 1970s bathroom transformation) with a bath, a walk-in shower with brushed brass fittings, a wall-hung basin and a backlit LED mirror. Outside, the garden was fully transformed with a new lawn, fencing and a resin-bound patio.
A massive amount of work went into this one, and the team pulled together from start to finish. The property was sold subject to contract to a first-time buyer before it even reached the open market, which is always a great way to finish a project.
